Month: December 2014

Well this year is almost over. It’s been a very interesting year for me. I’ve accomplished a few things that I set out to accomplish and I’ve failed at a few others. I have a good feeling about 2015. It will probably be my best year yet!

Recently I’ve noticed a trendĀ around meĀ that borders on cynicism, in fact this picture is one that keeps coming up:

New Year, New Me
New Year, New Me

The first few times I saw it I also thought, yep here it comes. The cynicism around me made me reluctant to think about things that I would like to change this year. However, I thought about it some more. It’s easy to be cynical. It’s easy to see people fail and when they try again just roll your eyes and make fun of them. The easy thing is not always the right thing.

Don’t be that person. Give people your support. Often all someone needs to really make a change is to know that at least one other person in the world supports them.

If you are trying to make a change in your life then don’t be discouraged by people around you if they are cynical. You can do it! One day at a time, one choice at a time.

Don’t be scared to try and change things in your life, even if you’ve tried and failed before. You are wiser now.

Happy New Year! I hope 2015 is KICK ASS!

P.S. New Year, New Me!

P.P.S. I’ve decided to change a few things in my life in 2015 so there!
